It caught on when people realized that when she pronounced the popular American catchphrase ‘Bless Your Heart’ it sounded like ‘Bliss your Heart’ due to her accent. This went viral so soon that the federation of WWE wasted no time in converting it to her ring name and it became a popular part of WWE Alexa Bliss news at that time. She was only 17 years of age during that time and had just undergone a chest augmentation procedure, of course, with the permission of Alexa Bliss’s parents as she was an underage person then. This procedure was important in her case, especially for her mental health, since her psychological state of mind was negatively affecting her eating habits. It is a common issue among young females, especially in their teens, since they become very conscious about their body parts during puberty.

Such medical procedures should only be undergone after the doctors say that it is the best recourse depending on the nature of the individual’s medical state and keeping in mind their case history as well. The appearance on a popular magazine cover helped Alexa feel good about herself, and she also started taking her eating disorder more seriously after this point of time.

Despite having zero prior training, Alexa was signed by WWE in May 2013. Then, she had to wait till July 2013 to make her debut appearance when she was brought in front of the camera to congratulate Paige, who was the champion that year. In August of the same year, she was added to WWE.com’s NXT roster page, but she acted as an unnamed ring announcer till November.
